2016/05/01 - The Sixties

So many things happened in the 1960’s. There was the cold war, the Beatles, B&W television, the space race, the Cuban missile crisis, the British R&R invasion, the Kennedy assignation, the civil rights movement, hippies, the Vietnam War, man on the moon, Nixon, LBJ, etc.

Although I lived through this era as a teenager, I was mostly unaware of how close we came to nuclear war, or of the cultural revolution that was happening all across America.

I highly recommend the Netflix 10-part series “The Sixties”.
