It’s getting to the point where you can hardly host a dinner party anymore and accommodate everyone’s special dietary requirements.
But the worst are the “Gluten Free”. Not the ones who have celiac disease, the ones who treat it like a health fad and think it’s a good thing, sort of like “Organic”.
And now I’m forced to eat tasteless dishes because someone at the table is voluntarily Gluten-Free.
According to the Mayo Clinic, “A gluten free diet is essential for managing celiac disease, but there is little clinical evidence about the health benefits of a gluten-free diet in the general population.”
