A few months ago I bought a car that came with a key-fob.
Although I admit it’s a great little device, I can’t break the habit of
reaching for my car keys.
After 45 years of driving and reaching into my pocket as I
approach my car, I’ve developed a routine that I’m finding hard to break.
Sometimes I even do it twice! I’ll be coming out of the
supermarket and as soon as I spot my car, I catch myself reaching into my
pocket for the key-fob. I’ll think to myself “When am I going to learn?” I’ll
put the fob back in my pocket, only to reach for it again before trying to open
the door.
I’m getting to old for these new gadgets.
Later,
Steve
